StromDom provides absolute comfort in contrast to the harsh nature. It is fully furnished, including an alternative shower, eco toilet, the kitchen has a stove with an oven and a gas double cooker, so be sure to pack something tasty for your teeth …. Yes, you can put it straight in the refrigerator. You have 170 liters of utility water, 6 liters of drinking water and also a mountain spring nearby.
P1 – Stromdom
(recommended parking in the winter months) – Nad Hrádzou 12, Nová Baňa (from here it is a 40-50 min. hike to StromDom)
P2 – Laznícka cesta

We recommend using Google Maps and don’t forget to switch to “Walking”.
The first door will be open, the lock will not be secured, you need to remove it and loosen the latch. You can find the keys to StromDom in the basket on the terrace.
When you leave, please leave the key in the basket on the terrace and close the lock.
The lights are solar – if you forget the light on all night in the shower, you may end up with candlelight the next day, especially in late autumn and in winter it is a bigger impact on photovoltaics – daylight hours are shorter, during winter the panels can be covered with snow.
You also have a power bank ready to charge your phones.
When nature calls… the compostable toilet comes in
We also ask gentlemen to pee on the seats, one peeing in the front part (peeing is directed outside), and the other in the back part of the toilet, which opens after sitting on the lid. Do not pee in the back part! After each pee, we ask you to pour a cup of water … since StromDom is not connected to standard networks and yet offers comfortable solutions, including a functional shower, we try to save water … yes, that’s right! Sometimes when nature calls, the result of the “call” can also “smell” a little. And also to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we recommend changing the compostable toilet bag at least every other day (but you don’t have to).
The procedure is as follows:
1. Remove the blue tablet with toilet paper before opening the toilet.
2. Open the toilet.
3. Remove the used bag and take it to the latrine on the other side of the meadow.
4. Place the new bag in the bucket.
5. Close the toilet and return the blue tablet to its original place.
The grilling tools are in the first large drawer under the stove.
In the evening, when it gets dark and the light is on in the house, it is important to close the mosquito net or door, especially in spring and summer, because insects fly in.
Don’t forget that you are going to the mountains, where the rule applies: “There is no such thing as bad weather, but a poorly dressed tourist.” We recommend suitable hiking shoes, ideally waterproof, and equipment (functional clothing, waterproof jacket or raincoat, headlamps/flashlights, hiking poles).
